UNFORGETTABLE SIX YEARS IN CHINA
Hello, I'm HIMANSHU PATEL from INDIA. I'm from Medical College of 2015 batch. I have graduated from CTGU this Spetember. The followings are my six years in CTGU, China. I would like to begin with thanking all our university leaders, my teachers and all my friends for making my journey memorable and teaching me lessons for life in one or another way.
The Very First Day when I came to CTGU, I was a little boy with lots of fear and confusion about my upcoming six years of CTGU life. But Now, I am leaving as a mature man, I'm fulfilled with life experiences, lots of lessons and very much motivated about my upcoming life.
In the First Year, the very First teacher with whom I got interacted was DAVID SIR. He impressed me when he spent about 10 mins just to memorize my long Indian name and then he called me with my name and said if you need any help 24/7 feel free to contact me.
When our studies began, Our First Lecture was Chinese, that time my 1st Chinese Teacher MISS.QIN XUE ZHEN Who taught me methods of learning Chinese and our Teaching Management Office in charge VICKY MAM, they had provided every possible study material for Chinese language and encouraged me to learn more and more with good academics. And whenever I got a chance to visit DAVID SIR, he always made me practice my speaking skills of Chinese, he praised as well as corrected my mistakes which is a big reason that today I can proudly say that MY CHINESE IS GOOD. Now I can fluently communicate with native Chinese people. But not only just Chinese but all my teachers motivated me to improve my academics as well and I won scholarships every year because of them.These achievements always made me more and more confident and I started enjoying my time in China.
But you know, what is the best part of learning this language??!!!!
TRAVELING! You can travel comfortably without any stress or worries. I personally like traveling very much and I never want to finish my university life just being limited up to academics. In vacations I started to explore China, Chinese culture and their way of living in metropolitan cities as well as in villages.
My plan was to first explore all the tourist places of Yichang and then to other cities and villages.But when I visited places like Three Gorges Waterfall, Three Gorges Dam, Three gorges Tribe, Qingjiang River Gallery, Three Visitors Cave and Qu Yuan's Hometown, I felt that traveling YICHANG is enough for me cause it is full of scenery as well as ancient culture of China.
Also, my Chinese friends invited me to visit there beautiful villages. One thing I realized after visiting their home, their fields and seeing their lifestyle is that India and China share quiet similar culture. I feel very blessed and lucky to visit these places and received lots of warmth from them.
I would love to pay my special regards to all the doctors I came across during my internship year.
They always tried to polish me as a future doctor not only by my medical skills but they also taught me the way of dealing with different situations in a doctor's life. And after seeing their dedication and love for work, I started respecting my medical profession more.
Now, in the end of this journey,I realized that from China, I am not only taking back my degree but also taking back with me the love I got from China, from my respected teachers, Chinese friends and families who always supported me in my difficult moments and made me feel like China is my Second Home. THANK EACH ONE OF YOU, I WILL NEVER FORGET YOU ALL.
